Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus gets priced in the US, deliveries start August 20 - TechShout!

The Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus went official in London back in June along with the Lite variant and the One 5 Style AIO PC. While the latter notebook has already been given an official price for the US, Samsung is yet to announce availability details for the former. Well, B&H Photo-Video has gone ahead and disclosed that the laptop can be yours for $1,399.99.


The Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus being listed on the retailer was reported by Engadget. The device touts a lightweight design of 1.39kg which makes it highly portable. Additionally, the company has given it a stylish appearance as well, and a slim profile of just 13.6mm. Well, the notebook’s beauty isn’t limited to the outside only. Under the lid, buyers will be presented with a high resolution 3200 x 1800-pixel SuperBright+ touchscreen which proffers 350nits of brightness, a pixel density of 275ppi and 10-point touch input. The Ativ Book 9 Plus also has an HDMI port and Intel Wireless Display for mirroring visuals to an external display.

Since we’re on the topic of connectivity, users will have 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Ethernet, USB 3.0 and a SD card reader. The Windows 8 platform runs the show powered by a dual core 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 4200U Haswell processor. For memory needs, the Ativ Book 9 Plus comes with a 128GB SSD and 4GB of RAM. Both options can be increased.


Pre-orders are now being accepted by B&H Photo-Video for the Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus. The aforementioned price of $1,399.99 is for the base variant and buyers will be able to opt for a better configuration which will cost them extra.
