Sprint officially sets Samsung ATIV S Neo release date ... - WinSource

Samsung ATIV S Neo

Yesterday we wrote about cases and accessories for the Samsung ATIV S Neo showing up at Sprint stores. Usually that signals a release date coming soon, and already today that has come true. Sprint is sending out press releases to officially announce release date and pricing for their second Windows Phone 8 device, and it’s pretty much what we expected.

As the rumors suggested, the Neo will be launching this week on Friday, August 16th. It will cost $149.99 with a new two-year contract and $50 mail-in-rebate. The Neo is almost identical to the original ATIV S. It has a 4.8-inch SAMOLED display, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 8MP camera, 16GB of storage, 1GB of memory, and 2000mAh battery. It’s a solid Windows Phone device for Sprint to go along with the HTC 8XT.

Who will be lining up on Friday to pick up a Neo?
